ALL patients with Alberta Health Care coverage, regardless of age, are now covered for any urgent care or emergency care visit at our office. Please call and inform our receptionist of the nature of your vision disturbance to ensure it will be covered.  (These covered visits generally do not include refractions)

All patients under the age of 19 years old and over the age of 64 are fully covered for comprehensive eye examinations, office visits, urgent care, dilations, and visual field testing if they have Alberta Health Care coverage

Patients with Diabetes or Glaucoma, regardless of age, are eligible for yearly examination to monitor these conditions.

Patients with a referral letter from their physician also have full coverage for the services requested through their Alberta Health Care coverage.

For patients without eligible Health Care Coverage our fees are:

Comprehensive Eye Exams: $75 (includes glaucoma, cataract, AMD check-up)

Contact lens evaluation: $25 (one time charge, includes all needed trial lenses)

First time contact lens wearer $45 (includes 30+ minute insertion and removal training)

Form Completion $10 (for drivers forms ; RCMP ; EPS ; NDT etc)

LASIK surgery pre-op and post-op package $420

D-15 Color Vision Testing $35 (Required for some police vision requirement applications)

Insurance we can direct bill for:

Social Services / AISH / Indian Affairs / Great West Life / Alberta School Employee Benefit Plan / Local 488 Plumbers and Pipefitters / Quick Card / Alberta Works / Blue Cross
