How early should I arrive for my appointment?

  • Please feel free arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time. You are always welcome to arrive earlier and browse our frame and sunglasses collections or perhaps catch up on your favourite magazine while sipping some complementary coffee or tea. 


What should I bring to my eye exam?

  • Being prepared for your appointment will help it go smoothly, please bring the following items:

  1. Alberta Health Care Card (regular fees apply if you are out of province)

  2. Photo ID - All government and private insurance plans require that you show valid government issued photo ID for your safety and to prevent insurance fraud.

  3. If you are using a private insurace plan, please have all required information with you. Including the card (if applicable) and any other information pertaining to the coverage.


How long will my eye exam take?

  • Please plan to be in the office for approximately 45 minutes. If additional testing is required they may run a bit longer.


Will I receive a copy of my prescription?

  • Yes, ask any of our staff members and they will be happy to give you a copy.


What if I have a problem with my glasses? 

  • Some prescriptions and lenses (bifocals/progressives) can take some time to get used to, however we want you to be happy and comfortable. If you are facing any problems with your glasses, please give us a call and we'd be happy to help resolve any issues you may be having.


Is Alberta Eye Health Clinic accepting new patients?

  • Yes, at this time we are taking new patients, so feel free to call or email us anytime.
